We are seeking a few additional Time Keeper Volunteers for the upcoming TT season.
The season runs every Thursday from 25th April through to 22nd August, and ideally someone would cover about 4 of these sessions.
There are two Time Keepers for each event (maye be more for team TT's), one at the start and one at the finish. Typically you meet at the TT HQ at Teddington before 6pm to enroll the racers, then time the races from 7pm and return to the HQ to share the results afterwards.
For new volunteers we'd run them with a seasoned Time Keeper initially, as part of the training.
It's both an exciting and responsible role but suprisingly satisfying too.
